What it is
QueryKey runs on your machine. Underneath the social layer it is a personal relationship manager, a lightweight CRM, and a JIRA-style task tracker for your own life. A local AI agent watches the messy, unstructured streams of how you actually communicate — chat logs, pasted conversations, notes — and builds a private model of the people and commitments around you, so it can quietly help you keep up with both.
Nothing is uploaded to run it. That is the point: it respects your privacy and the privacy of everyone you talk to.
Where the name comes from
“QueryKey” is the Q / K / V — query, key, value — projections in a transformer's attention matrix. Your day, your relationships, and your tasks are the values. The local agent attends over them: computing queries from what you're trying to do right now, against keys built from your notes and prior conversations.
Status
Early. The description above is the target. The codebase is an in-progress engine being built and reoriented toward it, on a local-first ingest → knowledge-graph foundation. The repository carries the honest, up-to-date status — that is the version to trust over any summary.
